Controller and contact

Immersed Advertising operates under the name Immersed Advertising. Contact eliott.mault@icloud.com for privacy questions, requests or concerns about a child’s information.

Information you provide

We process account names, email addresses, password hashes, optional billing or payout information, game profiles, campaign settings, uploaded content, generated previews and approval decisions. Avoid sensitive personal information in uploads and free-text fields. Stripe handles card payments; the website does not receive full card numbers or card security codes.

Data from games

When a game shows our ads, the Unity integration sends game and placement identifiers, a random session identifier created for each launch of the game (never derived from the device and never saved on it), the operating platform, view duration, screen coverage, sample counts and timestamps. It never reads or sends a device identifier, advertising identifier, account, name or the device's region setting, never asks for location permission, and stores nothing on the player's device: ad images are kept in memory and downloaded again each time the game starts. To match regional ads and show advertisers where their ads were seen, our servers estimate the player's country and state or province from the IP address of the ad request, using the DB-IP geolocation database on our own servers, and store only that country and state; we do not store the IP address or user agent, or any city-level or precise location. Location matching is always off for players in the European Union, the rest of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: for them the IP address is used only to recognise that the request comes from there, and nothing about their location is kept. Elsewhere it is on by default, and off when the game's developer turns it off, when the game identifies a player as under 13, or when a player turns it off through the game's settings. We do not build profiles of players or track them across games. For players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we and the game's developer are joint controllers for collecting this data in the game; our Data Sharing Addendum sets out each party's responsibilities, and players may contact either of us. Players can ask the game's developer or us about this data.

How we choose ads

We choose which ad to show from the game (its genre, audience and art style), the billboard and, when location matching is on (never for players in the EU, EEA or UK), the player's approximate country and state or province at the time of the ad request. We do not use device identifiers, histories of activity across games, or player profiles, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Players can turn location matching off where the game's settings offer it; ads matched to the game alone continue either way. Website visitors are not tracked for advertising, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request where the law requires.

Notice for US state residents

Categories we collect: identifiers (name, email, account ID, and the IP addresses of ad requests, which are used only to estimate approximate location and are not stored); commercial information (campaigns, funding and payout records); internet activity (ad requests, view measurements, website sign-in records); approximate geolocation (country or region, not precise GPS); and user-provided content (uploaded images and descriptions). Sources: you, your devices, games that integrate our SDK, and payment providers. Purposes and recipients are described above; retention is described below. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete and port your data, to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing, and to appeal our decision on a request. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority. Contact eliott.mault@icloud.com; we respond within the time your law requires.

Recipients and visibility

Our hosting, GPU processing and payment providers receive information needed to perform their services. Campaign uploads and generated campaign files can be available at public URLs and displayed in games. Sample files on the website require the owning account’s signed-in session; downloaded or shared copies are outside that access control. We may disclose information as legally required or to protect users and the service. International transfers may occur depending on provider locations and require the safeguards applicable to that deployment.

Cookies and storage

We use essential session and request-protection cookies for sign-in and form security. Public demo workspaces use local browser storage. Removing these may sign you out or reset demo state. The current account site does not use a separate marketing-cookie system.

Retention

Player details from games (approximate country and state or province, the random per-launch session identifier and raw view reports) are kept for 180 days for billing, dispute and fraud review, then erased; the view counts and amounts they produced remain. We do not keep players' IP addresses, user agents or device identifiers. View, charge, receipt and payout records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting. Records of which policies you accepted are kept for the life of your account plus 7 years. Website sample files are removed after 30 days; their job records continue to enforce the three-sample offer while the account exists. Webhook delivery logs are kept for up to 90 days and server access logs for 30 days. Working copies on our image-generation machine are deleted within 7 days, and backups roll over within 35 days, so deleted data leaves backups within that time. Other account and campaign records are kept while your account is open and as needed for disputes, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Contact support to request deletion; some records must be kept for the periods above.

Your requests

Contact eliott.mault@icloud.com to request access, correction, deletion or information about use of your data. Where applicable, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or appeal of a request decision. We may verify identity before responding and explain legally permitted exceptions. You may contact the privacy regulator with jurisdiction over your situation. Withdrawing permission does not undo processing already lawfully completed.

Children and guardian involvement

There is no blanket 18+ advertiser rule. A parent or guardian must authorize an account where law requires. The service is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required notice and verifiable parental consent. A general agreement checkbox is not a parental-consent verification process. Contact support before submitting a child’s information; if we learn that required consent is missing, we will restrict the relevant processing and address deletion or a lawful guardian-managed arrangement. The service does not accept games directed to children under 13. Any such game found on the service receives ads without location matching and may be removed. We do not collect device identifiers or build profiles of any player, including children.

Security and updates

We use access controls, request protection and rate limits, but no service can guarantee complete security. Report concerns to eliott.mault@icloud.com. We publish policy revisions and request renewed agreement where needed for affected account actions.
